Project Duration/Completion:  Three (3) months with completion in February 2013

 

 

Interior renovation consisting of converting an existing ultrasound diagnostic imaging suite, public washroom and gift shop kiosk to create a new CT Department, including Imaging suite, control room, equipment room, radiologists office, waiting room, patient prep area and barrier free washroom. Scope of work included Demolition of existing Speed tile / clay block partition walls, Hazardous materials abatement (Asbestos) New structural supports for patient lift. Major electrical upgrades (Including power distribution and lighting). Major mechanical systems upgrades including two proprietary split A/C systems, dcw, dwh, vent and drain piping for barrier free washroom, steam line and heating S / R relocation. Complete new radiation protection system including doors and viewing window. Complete finishes upgrades including T-Bar ceilings, GWB seamless vinyl flooring, paint and new casework.
